Oh God, how I wish I believed I was this clever. The horror of last year's contest was, honestly, I'd one thing in mind before starting. A name.

 William S. Frankenstein.

Everything after that was a surprise to me.

My guess is that you do have an outline you just don't write it down:) Sort of like some people can just do math with showing all the work, you can just write. It doesn't make you an imposter just different and isn't that what real writers want?

Baby, the true horror is not selling out. It's when the day comes that you choose to sell out and nobody is buying.

 I can't discuss the job yet. :)

Congrats on the new job, what exactly will you be doing? It seems weird to think of you working for the government I always think of you as somewhat anti-establishment.

Regret can be powerful when we learn from it and move forward, use the experience to do better and cause less pain but it can be harmful when it festers and builds up, and I like you still haven't found the balance of learning and letting go or holding on. I do think if you've apologized and the other person is fine - it's time to let go, think of it as surgery for the soul and cut it out.

You want unfocused regret? Stay up all night listening to every Roger Waters Pink Floyd album from Dark Side of the Moon to The Final Cut, then put on Pros and Cons of Hitch Hiking and Amused to Death, and as an epilogue listen to The Final Cut again. I guarantee that when you finally slink off to bed you'll feel like the lowest piece of human shit in all of creation.

I do feel bad for bailing on my draft of SFI for that reason (I despise being a flake). Damn academics getting in the way.

Well, this doesn't surprise me. You are, may god have mercy upon all our souls, the least flaky visual artist that I know.

First, sorry for the double post.

Second, if you said that you were acting as editor (which isn't really a bad thing. Someone needs to), if I were to enter into drawing your stuff I would pass changes before I made them. Hell, I would do that anyways, even if it was just collaborative.
